West Virginia Civil Rights Award
The West Virginia Civil Rights Award is given each year to recognize an NRCS
employee or group of employees that contribute to the area of Civil Rights. The
various contributions may be in the area of Employment or Program Delivery that
increase the representation of women, minorities and individuals with
disabilities as customers, employees, or as members of local boards, councils
and committees.
In 2008, Barbara Broxterman was given a state-level award for her work as the
previous chairperson.
