All field offices now have Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment and personnel are trained to use it. Herb Andrick and Susan Davis completed four training sessions in Beckley, Mineral Wells, Morgantown, and Keyser. |

Many West Virginia NRCS employees have detailed to other states this past year. Don Gohmert, Louisiana State Conservationist, hosted a picnic lunch to thank our employees. |
Twenty-seven Earth Team Volunteers donated 5,268 hours to NRCS in West Virginia in FY2006.
Former employee Rhonda Blankenship returned to NRCS as an Earth Team Volunteer and brought six other volunteers with her. For a record third time, Kelly Alvis has been selected as the Individual Earth Team Volunteer of the year.
