Conservation Security Program Audio Public Service Announcements
Rewards the best… motivates the rest!
Entertaining and informative, these four radio public service announcements
will help listeners understand that the Conservation Security Program rewards
farmers and ranchers who practice good stewardship.

By airing these PSAs as often as possible, you can help your neighbors and
others in your listening area understand the importance of this program for a
healthy environment and the agricultural producers who go out of their way to
care for the land.
In West Virginia, CSP is available in three watersheds. The Elk River
watershed includes parts of Braxton, Clay, Kanawha, Nicholas, Pocahontas,
Randolph, Roane, and Webster counties. The Twelvepole Creek watershed includes
parts of Cabell, Lincoln, Logan, and Wayne counties. The Little Muskingum-Middle
Island (Upper Ohio River 3) watershed includes parts of Doddridge, Marshall,
Pleasants, Tyler, Wetzel, and Wood counties.

Have you ever been rewarded for doing the right thing—returning a lost wallet,
putting your neighbor’s cows back in the pasture? Maybe now is your chance. The
new Conservation Security Program rewards farmers and ranchers for taking care
of the land—keeping water clean and soil healthy. To see if you qualify for a
Conservation Security Program payment, take the self-assessment. Contact your
local Natural Resources Conservation Service office or USDA Service Center.
