2004 EWP in Boone County, West Virginia

The first picture shows an example of streambank erosion caused by a flood event along a typical stream in rural West Virginia. At this location, a home and access to their home was nearly cut-off by the erosion. The second picture shows a low cost riprap repair used to stabilize the streambank. The NRCS completed this repair within three months after the site was surveyed by the technology team.
